Cameras:
Go Pro
This thing works great for capturing any sort of awesome activity you want to share with people. I use it in lots of my own videos (my youtube channel.) The casing makes it waterproof and shock proof so you can put it through hell and it will come out fine. The high definition gives you a great quality and the fish eye helps to make sure you don’t miss a thing!
iPhone 4
I know it sounds a bit wonky to consider my phone to be a part of my photography gear, but this camera phone is fantastic. The photos are often fantastic and it is with me at all times. I can’t recommend it enough. Not to mention, it does about 1 million other awesome things that keep me constantly enamored with the thing.
Apple MacBook Pro
This thing just changes the world. If you want to get into webdesign or any sort of web publishing, this is a must have. After using this computer, I can’t really fathom buying anything else. You might save a few bucks buying a cheaper computer, but you will loose a whole lot of capability.
Books:
Shantaram: A Novel
by Gregory David Roberts
This is a riveting book based on the real adventures of Roberts. From escaping prison in Australia to living in India. This book is absolutely stunning. It’s super long too (almost 1000 pages.) But when I got to the end of the book, I was flustered that it was over! This is an awesome book so check it out!
Ishmael: An Adventure of the Mind and Spirit
by Daniel Quinn

This book is really important to the way I see the world. Even though the premise of the book is a bit ridiculous, the core message is fantastic. If you’re looking to expand or deepen your understanding of who we are, read this book. I absolutely loved it.
Rich Dad Poor Dad: What The Rich Teach Their Kids By Robert Kiyosaki
Robert provides some really important information in this book. It’s not just a personal finance book, it helps the reader to understand how our societies separate the rich from the poor. Even if your not looking to become an investor, it’s a good read.
The 4-Hour Workweek: Escape 9-5, Live Anywhere, and Join the New Rich By Tim Ferriss

Tim is a huge positive influence. I think this book was what really validated this feeling that I could spend most of my life doing things I love, as long as I focused on being really productive in the mean time. This book is groundbreaking and if you haven’t read it yet, you must be living under a rock.
The 4-Hour Body: An Uncommon Guide to Rapid Fat-Loss, Incredible Sex, and Becoming Superhuman By Tim Ferriss

This book is just as ground breaking as the 4 hour workweek. It is basically the bio-hackers guide to being awesome. You must read this book if you haven’t heard of it yet. Tim is a good writer and he inspires on so many different levels. At times, he even has you laughing out loud.
Bio-hacking is something I plan to get really into once I get the 4 hour work into my own life.
